IOSH Managing Safely

IOSH Managing Safely course is ideal for anyone who has day to day responsibility for activities with implications for the health, safety and well-being of themselves, colleagues or anyone affected by their organisation's activities. No previous qualifications or training is required.

Delegates will be able to make an impression on their workplace with their new skills and also benefit from their own personal development which results in internationally recognised certification.

What Will I Learn?

Delegates will learn how to plan, implement and monitor Health & Safety, making real improvements to performance and delivering accident reduction and cost savings. The course covers:

· Risk Assessment.

· Risk Control.

· Health & Safety Legislation.

· Common Hazards.

· Investigating Accidents and Incidents.

· Measuring Performance.

· Environmental Protection.

You will leave the health and safety training course with a considerably enhanced appreciation of your responsibilities and knowledge of what you can do to implement improvements in your workplace.

Places available: 12 delegates

Cost per delegate: £490 (member rate) including buffet lunch

Cancellation requirements

As this course is being delivered by an external provider we are required to confirm final delegate places in advance of the course taking place. As such, should circumstances mean that you have to cancel your place after 23rd December 2019 you will still be charged in full for your place. As such, councils should identify a substitute delegate, should the named delegate be unable to attend.
