Recruitment of Parish Clerk (RFO & Proper Officer)
Salary Scale: SCP 24-28 (£31,099 - £34,723), depending upon experience and qualifications, plus 12% employer contribution to NEST pension.
Part time – 30 hours per week (some evening and weekend hours will be required). Markfield Parish Council is an ambitious forward-looking Council which has embraced a number of opportunities in recent years, as well as overcoming associated challenges. The Council is now looking for the right person to build on previous successes and to take the Council forward.

Oakham TC - Clerk vacancy
Hours: Part-time – 25-30 hours per week. Salary: Between £32,909 – £39,493 per annum pro-rata, depending on experience and qualifications.
If you have a genuine interest in helping our forward thinking and energetic Council develop and deliver timely, quality and innovative services to the local community, this post is ideal for you.
You will ensure that all legal, statutory, financial and other governing provisions relating to the Council are observed, all Council meetings are properly administered, and decisions effectively implemented all whilst developing healthy working partnerships. Ideally qualified with or willing to obtain CiLCA – the Certificate in Local Council Administration. You should be highly motivated, enthusiastic and community focused. You should have sound leadership, communication, financial and organisational skills.

Osgathorpe PC - Locum Clerk & Responsible Financial Officer
Osgathorpe Parish Council is looking to recruit a locum Clerk for between four and six months commencing in June 2023. The position is home based for a typical average of 4 hours per week. Parish Council meetings are held every other month with the next one scheduled for 10th July. Salary is negotiable.
Osgathorpe is a small village. The Clerk's duties primarily relate to; managing correspondence and ensuring the Council remains compliant with its statutory responsibilities. The Clerk's position is currently vacant and the Council intends recruiting for a replacement.
