LRALC - Deputy Chief Executive (Training and Advice) (Full time)

Circa £30,000 depending upon experience. Full Time (37 hrs per week, potential to reduce to 30 hrs if required) with attractive pension

Leicestershire and Rutland CALC provides member services to parish and town councils across the two counties. As part of the Association's commitment to improving the first tier of local government we have an immediate vacancy for someone to join our small busy team as Deputy Chief Executive with specific oversight of training and advice services to member councils.

Birstall PC - Admin Assistant vacancy (Part time)

Birstall Parish Council has a part time vacancy for an admin assistant, they are seeking a motivated and customer service orientated person to act as the first point of contact of the Parish Council for visitors and members of the public making enquiries over the telephone, email, or face to face at the reception desk.

30 hours per week – 9am – 3pm, Monday to Friday - Salary Scale LC1/SCP 13: £22,627 per annum/pro-rata

Kilsby PC (Northamptonshire) - Clerk vacancy (Part time)

Kilsby Parish lies in Northamptonshire, 5 miles from SE of Rugby and 6 miles from the District town of Daventry. Part of Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal lies within the parish. It has a population of 2000, a Primary School, Church, Chapel, Village Hall, Community Shop and administers a Cemetery. The Parish Clerk will also act as Secretary to Kilsby Recreation Ground Charity which administers the play area within the village.

Burton on the Wolds, Cotes & Prestwold PC - Clerk vacancy (Part time)

Applications are invited for the position of Parish Clerk to Burton on the Wolds, Cotes and Prestwold Parish Council.

The post is for 14 hours per week, including attendance at evening Council meetings held at Burton on the Wolds village hall, and committee meetings held at the playing field pavilion in Burton on the Wolds.

Queniborough PC - Deputy Clerk vacancy (Part time)

Queniborough Parish Council require a Deputy Clerk to support the work of the Parish Clerk. This includes working with the Clerk on the full range of tasks carried out by the Council, including some project work, clerking some meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, dealing with correspondence and contractors, updating the website and deputising for the Clerk when absent. The Deputy Clerk will be required to work a minimum of 8 hours per week from the Parish Office, a laptop will be provided.

The successful candidate will be required to have good interpersonal, administrative and IT skills. Training will be given relating to the work of Parish Councils.

The post will be for 11 hours per week (with additional hours when required) in the salary range of £10.86 to £11.30 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. There is an annual salary review.
