The contract for External Audit for our area for the financial years 2022/23 to 2026/27 has been awarded to Moore UK, a change from pkf Littlejohn who have carried out this task for the last few years.
More details regarding any impact this will have on town and parish councils will be shared in due course.

GMB Accept 67%, reject 33%
Unite Accept 22%, reject 78%

At a meeting this morning NALC Legal outlined the reasons and alleged errors that lead them to strongly disagree with the view issues by Richard Harwood KC.
LRALC has strongly requested that a statement is issued from NALC on this to address the confusion.
In essence, NALC Legal's view on meetings still stands.
