Councils who are responsible for public toilets should refer to the letter referenced here. We know a number of our councils provide these facilities and the letter provides some guidance on their reopening.

Many councils have contracts in place with their staff (even where they only have one employee, i.e. the clerk) which entitles the employee to receive the national cost of living pay award as part of the National Joint Council (NJC) terms and conditions.
