Council Tax Levels for 2022-2023 - Average Parish Council Tax £74.94

The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities has published statistical information about Council Tax levels for 2022/23.

Headline figures for town and parish councils are:

• The average Band D precept charged by a parish council for 2022-23 will be £74.94, an increase of £3.07, or 4.3%, from 2021-22
• Parish precepts in 2022-23 will total £655 million which is £37 million higher than in 2021-22
