Over 70 delegates attended the Leicestershire County Council Annual Parish Council Conference held on Tuesday 9th July 2013.

"Good Councillors Guide" - 4th Edition now published!

The 4th edition of the National Training Strategy publication "Being a good councillor – Essential guidance for parish and town councillors" was published today by NALC.

This revised edition is a welcome and much needed resource primarily for new councillors but also for those thinking about becoming a local councillor.

LRALC launches training bursary scheme for small councils

LRALC launches training bursary scheme for small councils

LRALC is very pleased to announce the launch of a new training bursary scheme for 2013/14. The scheme has been launched as a LRALC initiative as a result of feedback from smaller councils who struggle fund training places.
