Leicester County council has taken the decision to cancel the Biodiversity training for the 19th and 23rd March.
This course will hopefully be reschedule later in the year.

The largest national gathering in the sector's annual calendar kicked off this morning with the NALC AGM followed by an thought provoking plenary by the NALC Chief Executive on the state of the sector and exciting initiatives being led by local councils across the country.

The Committee on Standards in Public Life report on ethical standards in local government is being published today, and should be available on their website from 10.00.

NALC is currently undertaking a councillor census survey for parish and town councillors as part of wider work it is undertaking around broadening the demographic of those holding elected office. It is doing this through a specially created Commission.
