Please note that sessions will only be run if there are at least six delegates booked; we will give at least one week's notice if a session has to be cancelled due to low bookings.
If you wish to cancel your booking please give at least two weeks notice to avoid being charged in full. In the event of any emergency on the day please telephone the office.
We currently offer a mix of online and face to face sessions. In-house training which can be provided online or at other locations (i.e. bespoke training for individual councils) will be charged at £210 for councils with up to 9 councillors and £250 for councils with 10 or more councillors plus travel costs from 1st April 2021 and is only available for individual member councils (i.e. the councillors and officers from the council making the booking). Please note, the commissioning council is responsible for providing an appropriate venue and any costs involved in hiring the venue.
Please ensure that all bookings are made through the office. It may be necessary to turn away any councillor or clerk who turns up without booking due to limited space.
All income generated from training fees goes back into delivering our core services to members.
If you have any specific requirements please contact the office in advance of the event and we will endeavour to accommodate your request.
Please note that only basic refreshments (i.e. tea, coffee and biscuits) will be provided unless otherwise specified in the training schedule.
