Parish Meetings

This section of the LRALC web site relates to Parish Meetings which are entirely separate from Parish Councils and Parish Council Meetings. Parish Meetings are meetings of the electors of a Parish.

The Association offers an Associate class of membership intended to offer free non voting participation of the Association to all Parish Meetings.

Associate Membership will allow members to access the office from 8.00am until 1.00pm on Mondays and Thursdays and from 8.00am until 2.00pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays for support and advice on any queries, receive a monthly update which covers latest news and relevant information and attend subsidised training courses throughout the year.

Please contact the office if you wish to register your Parish Meeting and receive the benefits mentioned above.

Extra entitlements for Parish Meetings under Full Membership are the provision of the services of the Legal Team at NALC if the need arises, holding voting rights for Association matters and the ability to access certain restricted areas of the Association website. These entitlements are not included with Associate Membership.
